The Cremains Garden at Emmaus Moravian Church Cemetery

The Cremains Garden at Emmaus Moravian Church Cemetery provides a dedicated space for the burial of cremation ashes in a shared memorial garden. Established in June 2020, the garden offers a serene, cost-effective alternative for cremation interment. It features a memorial stone engraved with the deceased’s name, birth year, and death year.

Benefits:

Location: The garden is centrally situated in the cemetery, with easy access from a nearby driveway and a paver walkway.
Features: Includes a cross-shaped burial area, a granite memorial stone for name engravings, planting beds, a perimeter fence, and two meditation benches.
Cost: Burial costs are $625 for church members and $725 for non-members, covering the engraving of the name, birth year, and death year on the memorial stone.
Burial Procedure: Families or funeral homes can prepare a small burial site within the cross area. Ceremonies can be simple or include a minister of the family’s choosing.
Notice Requirements: A minimum of two business days’ notice is needed to schedule a burial.
